If you ever get near Indian River Michigan please eat at Christopher Cafe they are phenomenal their food is great omelettes are out of this world and you have to have some of their cinnamon rolls they are yummy feels like a family reunion a place we always remember and look forward to on our way up or back from camp at Black Lake I would give them a rating of 10 Stars

This restaurant is truly amazing — and I don’t say that lightly! The hype is real. I had the cinnamon toast and WOW... mind-blown. Sweet, crispy perfection. And the biscuits and gravy? Easily some of the best I’ve ever had — and I’m from the South, so that’s saying a lot! Every bite was pure comfort. This place is 100% worth checking out. Mmm... so satisfying. I’m already planning my next visit!

Awesome little cafe! The food was great. I got the shrimp basket and the raspberry sweet hot sauce it came with was really good. The kids really enjoyed their food as well. Waitress was super friendly and the atmosphere has a nice American diner feel. Needless to say, I was very impressed with this little place!

The cozy, rustic vibe of the cafe adds to the overall comfort, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. Now, let's talk about the real star of the show – Allena, our server. She was absolutely amazing! Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, she made sure every part of our experience was perfect. Whether it was recommending a dish or making sure we had everything we needed, Allena went above and beyond to ensure we felt well taken care of. The food? Simply outstanding! I always have issues when I got out to eat. But my experience here was absolutely amazing. I am from out of town and have heard about this place from some co workers who visit up north regularly. We had a server name allena she was absolutely amazing. She was very busy but made us a priority. Nothing but good things to say about this place. Will definitely be back!

So glad we stopped here on the way from mackinaw. Very warm and welcoming, and more than a standard american breakfast spot. The corned beef hash was the highlight of our meal. Everything was tasty, but the service made it worth the visit. Get anything homemade on the menu. This place is a definite pit stop when heading up north.

Hometown diner of my dreams! Everyone knew everyone, but welcomed all the non regulars. Amazing food, great portions and prices. Our server was so kind and funny. They had a little homemade candle stand with the cutest candles as well!

We stopped at Christopher's Cafe on the way home for brunch. My honey had the chicken fried steak and corned beef hash and I had the meat lovers waffle! Absolutely delicious! This is definitely on our list to visit again!
